John Frederick Ginnett

John Ginnett was a prominent member of one of the oldest circus families in Europe.

The Ginnetts moved to Brighton in the early 1870s, and setting up their circus at Park Crescent Place (now Devonian Court).

In the early 1890s the family moved from Park Crescent Place to North Road where they opened the Hippodrome Theatre which later became known as the Eden Theatre and later as the Grand.

John Ginnett died in 1892.
