We had a brief glimpse of this sign whilst the premises was undergoing a re-fit.
Lane & Stedman has been at this address since c. 1908, and possibly a couple of years previous to that. Before this it was also a chemist by the name of Headland’s.

Built in 1933. Closed as a cinema in the late 1970s, it became a Bingo Hall. This closed in 1997.
