


Temporarily uncovered whilst the tunnel was being strengthened to preserve it for many years to come.

Originally part of the ornate entrance to the Aquarium (now the Sea Life Centre). Removed in 1928/29.

How overlooked is this little place? It doesn’t look like much has changed here over the years.

After many years of the Lighting Shop being here at these premises it has recently been sold to a new owner who is planning to turn it into an Ice Cream Parlour.

Work has now commenced on controversial plans to alter the traffic flow and accessibility of the area between St. Peter’s and Pool Valley.

Days are numbered for most of the buildings along Pelham Terrace, Lewes Road.

Demolition has started of the old Pink Coconut Night Club.

Built in 1933. Closed as a cinema in the late 1970s, it became a Bingo Hall. This closed in 1997.
