It applied to extend it's stay but they were turned down due to the competition it would cause for the i360, which will open in the summer. Its safe to say we loved it and it'll be missed by the people of Brighton.

Demolition has started of the old Pink Coconut Night Club.
Built in 1933. Closed as a cinema in the late 1970s, it became a Bingo Hall. This closed in 1997.
