Work has now commenced on controversial plans to alter the traffic flow and accessibility of the area between St. Peter’s and Pool Valley.

I saw Jaws there in mid 1976, an afternoon showing with a slightly sparse audience. It had a sizable and art deco style auditorium and allegedly was a flagship cinema from 1933 onwards. A real shame another old Brighton cinema bites the dust.
