


I am presuming that this was a guest house of some kind. I could only find it listed as Ivy House from c.1905.

Herbert Cassey Hosiers were in business at 5 Gardner Street from c.1905 to the early 1960s.

In the Brighton Museum this is all that remains of the little room with all the stuffed animal heads. Remember them?

The earliest record I could find for The Hat Box was 1912.

Work has now commenced on controversial plans to alter the traffic flow and accessibility of the area between St. Peter’s and Pool Valley.

Days are numbered for most of the buildings along Pelham Terrace, Lewes Road.

Demolition has started of the old Pink Coconut Night Club.

Built in 1933. Closed as a cinema in the late 1970s, it became a Bingo Hall. This closed in 1997.
