I am presuming that this was a guest house of some kind. I could only find it listed as Ivy House from c.1905.

Harrington’s 71 Middle Street

Situated on the east side. This was a Hotel from 1925 to the at least the 1970s.

9 Terminus Road

This building was originally The Gardener’s Arms pub, and owned by Smither’s Brewery. Smither’s signage was revealed briefly during renovations.

London Road Shop Doorway

In a shop doorway towards Preston Circus is this little gem. Long may it last!

34 North Road

J. Smith & Son. Heating and Lighting and General Engineers was in business at these premises from c.1876/77 to the late 1950s.
