Freshfield Road started life as Park Road East. The Cuthbert Inn was mentioned in 1880 as being run by T. Gorringe.
The Eastern
The earliest record I could find for this pub, then known as the Eastern Tavern was 1848. Reed Ockenden was the landlord.
