More changes in West Street: The building of the Royal Oak hotel in 1991. Built on the site of the SS Brighton sports stadium which had been demolished decades before this. Photographed again in 2012.

Demolition has started of the old Pink Coconut Night Club.
Built in 1933. Closed as a cinema in the late 1970s, it became a Bingo Hall. This closed in 1997.
