The West Pier in February 2014
After a storm on the night of February 5th another part of the West Pier crumbled into the sea.
The West Pier, complete in January 1988.
Just before the decision was made to remove the central section.

Demolition has started on the Astoria Cinema, Gloucester Place

Built in 1933. Closed as a cinema in the late 1970s, it became a Bingo Hall. This closed in 1997.
