Herbert Cassey Hosiers were in business at 5 Gardner Street from c.1905 to the early 1960s.

This premises was a dyeing business for many years from 1874 up until 1935.

Demolition has started of the old Pink Coconut Night Club.

Built in 1933. Closed as a cinema in the late 1970s, it became a Bingo Hall. This closed in 1997.
